Take Something Literally, Walkthrough and Review

Take Something Literally is a collection of 25 enigmas. The only rule to this game is to take the hints literally, what your looking for is always right in front of you!

This game plays different from your average puzzle game, using things outside the screen you can find a few answers, I guess that's why they call it enigmas, thinking outside the box. Also using your mic you can affect a few puzzles, but don't worry if you don't have a mic simply find another way...

The game really isn't too difficult, of course I was stuck on a few levels for some time, but that's what makes the game fun! If you do get stuck there's always tips to help you, the problem is that when your puzzled, and waiting for a tip for 300 seconds it can get boring. I guess that can only be blamed on me though! So if worse comes to worse take the tip, (usually they're in riddles) they can help.

The graphics are right down my alley. I've always loved black and white graphics, it always captures the better side of me. I don't know about you, but in my opinion this game lack of not having enough sound effects. Of course there's the sweet bell sound when you complete a level but to make this game even better they should of added some puzzle music to it!

I wouldn't say there was too much replayability, although the levels are quite cool and mind bending. The only way there could be much replayabilty is if there were trophies or in-game achievements, such as beat the game in ___ amount of time, or beat all stages.

I really enjoyed myself, playing this game. Everything about this game is amazing, especially playing Pong against myself! The game is just so different from any game I've ever played before, that it's an instant 5/5, 10/10, whatever you want to call it, it was great I tell you!

Walkthrough:

(I strongly suggest using this walkthrough only unless you are actually stuck, the game is great so don't ruin it for yourself!)

Level 1: To remove

Click and drag the ''To Remove'' button outside the game screen.

Level 2: Read that

Click and drag your mouse over the invisible text, ''Hit space bar 10 times''.

Level 3: Do that

Right click and select ''Just here''.

Level 4: Switch the light

Hit caps lock when the light, lightens up, and again when it goes dark.

Level 5: Dodge

Hit'' Start'' and move out of the screen to the ''Push'' button.

Level 6: Before start

The ''Safezone'' will rotate clockwise, be sure to have your mouse in the ''Safezone'' before anything starts!

Level 7: Don't trust

Hit ''Start'' then move to the button that says ''Push'', only click it when it goes blue.

Level 8: My URL

Enter the URL, and go to level 8, on the side it will say ''You found a secret place''. Click that tab and return to your game. (You may need to refresh the original page.)

Level 9: Too far for me

Right click and zoom in, you'll notice it says ''Hit space bar 10 times, and the enter key 10 times.

Level 10: Get out

Close your browser. Then open the game again and see that the bomb has detonated. It should say completed.

Level 11: Brighter

Adjust your monitor's brightness, the password is ''zxcvbn''.

Level 12: Louder

Turn up the volume on your computer. The password is up, down, left, right (arrow keys).

Level 13: Wheel

Scroll the wheel on your mouse.

Level 14: Smoother

Right click and set your quality to ''High''. Amidst all the madness you should notice the ''Click Twenty Times'', do as it suggests.

Level 15: First!

Look at the first line in the instructions. Type in ''nice game''.

Level 16: Candle

If you have a mic, good for you, if you don't type in ''blow''.

Level 17: My corners

Click on all 4 corners of the game screen, the very tips.

Level 18: Circle me

Circle around the ENTIRE game screen, (going outside the game).

Level 19: Green light, red light

Move your mouse (or you move on the camera) when it's green and stop when it's red. The circle becomes bigger if you are doing it right.

Level 20: Fully loaded

Keep refreshing the page until the battery is charged.

Level 21 and 22: Ping and Pong

Start playing level 21, copy and paste the web address onto a new tab and start up level 22, have fun playing Pong against yourself! (You also do this in two different windows to see the whole game if you shrink them down!)

Level 23: It's already too late!

Open your PC's calendar and time settings, (click the time on the taskbar) and change it to something earlier, like the yesterday.

Level 24: Paste

Press ''ctrl+c'' and then paste it onto a notepad. Type in ''ofcourse''.

Level 25: On the paper

Type ''theend''.
